We have used the Red X malt from Best Malz as a base malt, and layered flavors with small additions of German crystal malts. The result is a nice full bodied lager, with soft nutty & caramelly nuances, rustic bread and a nice hop forward profile of spice, citrus & floral notes from the use of Tettnang & Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops.

We really enjoyed interpreting the Rotbier of Nürnberg, and hope you guys will enjoy drinking it!
